I am finally getting to setup my work space in Florida. WooHoo! I am cleaning and organizing, 2 of the things I hate the most! My style off cleaning is throw it in a box and I will get to it later (Ya, right!) I always put off cleaning until the VERY LAST MINUTE! I have good intensions to work 20 minutes a day and get it done but I just keep putting it off.
I haven’t been totally slacking in the last 3 weeks. I have been working on my Etsy shops www.artrageousclay.etsy.com and www.firedupladies.etsy.com. I finally have enough pieces in FiredUpLadies to have 2 pages! I have also been playing with my pictures so I would love to hear any comments and critiques regarding them.
My newest listing in www.firedupladies.etsy.com is this Reversible Necklace -
I am a nut when it come to christmas. My house has no fewer than 10 Christmas Trees! They all have a theme, Penguins, Cowboy, Wild Animals, Carton/Disney, Snowman, Angel, etc. I love Christams and have found it hard to find jewelry that really made me say wow. So I decided to design my own Holiday Jewelry Collection. My newest member of the collection is this adorable Penguin. He is a Reversible Pendant and has a snowflake on the otherside.
This piece is part of my Reversible Pendant Series. Each one of the pieces in this series are one of a kind and I will never have another just like it. I wanted to make something fun and different, so the Reversible Pendant was born! A piece that is both elegant and fun with an unexpected surprise on the other side.
*The face is a soft pink in color with rosy cheeks. It is peeking out of deep purple surroundings and has gold accents. There is a lovely layered heart in peach and red. The reverse side has a wonderful lavender rose with a gold accented dragonfly.
I am going to start a new type of post on Wednesdays. Wordless Wednesdays! Wordless Wednesdays will be of a picture or pictures of handmade items that I have found and liked. The pictures will be clickable as the link to the description and I will have the shop name as a link also. I hope you like them! I would love to see your comments, too!
My name is Regina and I create one-of-a-kind clay jewelry. I recently found the world of metal stamping and now combine my ceramic pieces and the metal. I am so excited! I have a lot to learn but the possibilities are endless.
I love to create something that is unique and different. That is how the clay came to be my primary material. My mom and I work together on the clay and then I do all of the finishing work.
My greatest joy comes when I see a piece that I have made be worn. I love to see all of my work and effort mean something. I feel very blessed when someone buys a piece that I've created with their hard earned money. My main goals are to create something different then anyone else, to make people stop and take another look, and to not meet yourself walking down the street.
