Good Morning! I'm having some wifi issues this morning, what a pain in my rear end!

I've just started in the Etsy chat rooms (last 2 days) and am really enjoying it. Thanks to all of you who are so nice and friendly. You really make me feel welcome! The only problem I have with it is that it is ADDICTING and I've gotten no work done!

I am in a new treasury. Thanks so much to Vaisto for including my "little angel"! You can find her wonder clothing and accesories at http://www.vaisto.etsy.com/ . Come take a look at the treasury, here's the link > http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list_west.php?room_id=52146

I'm finding a lot of great tips in the forums. Here is one that I found yesterday.
100 Free Business Cards (shiping is free too!) from MarketSplash. It is a HP company. AND the best part is you can create your own card with your logo on it for FREE, too! Here's the link >

Thank you for the great info my fellow Etsians!

Well I am off for now, have to make myself work a little! lol

Tuesday Triumphs!

I just listed a few new necklaces! I'm including the links below so come take a look.

I'm also working on some new necklace designs. I just bought some FABULOUS biwa pearls from ebay. I'm stretching myself trying to figure out how to incorporate them in my designs! I'm always looking for new ways to create.

Another new item I'm working on is RINGS! I love rings and I've made them before, but not like this! They are going to be face rings this time! They are turning out GREAT! I can't wait until they are finished.

I also just received some wire from www.windspirit.etsy.com that I'm excited about. I am trying aluminum wire for the first time! It is so light weight, I can't believe it! I made a wire test ring last night about 11 o'clock and have been wearing it ever since. So far so good! I haven't turned green and it's very easy to wear. (btw - I eat metal like crazy and turn green within an hour!) Go check out windspirit if you would like some wire that won't break the bank!

Bye for now!

Sundays Sermons

Just Kidding! I thought it was catchy, so here's my sermon!

For the first time yesterday I left an artshow a day early! I packed up and left on saturday at closing time. I just couldn't take anymore! How much disinterest can one person endure? I think I found out! The artists who had exhibited there before were all disappointed in the show. They thought attendance was down by 2/3. I'm so diappointed as this is the only way that I support my family. I guess the economy is talking!

I'm trying many new and interesting avenues to sell!

I've submitted work to many of the different free advertising sites.

So I'm not just sitting on my duff and expecting it to roll in.

I know, I know things can only get better! That is exactly what I am looking forward to!

I have a fullshow schedule for the summer and I am still on the waitlist of several others so things can only go up from here!

If you would like to know where I'll be this summer I've included a link.
Hope everyone has a spectacular Sunday! I'm off to work!

Thursdays Thoughts

My Thursday Thoughts:
I have been thinking today (I know that can be dangerous! lol) about being frustrated.
I know that I was greatly blessed with a sale right after I stared my shop. And she loved my bead so much she bought more. The problem is, Nobody else has really seemed all that interested.
My question to myself has been, is it worth all the time that I have been spending? Should I keep going? Does anyone really want what I make here on Etsy?
It has been a very introspective day!
My answer to myself has been - Don't give up. Keep pressing on and all the time and effort that I am putting in will pay off. Surely there are people out there who will buy what I am creating!
Sometimes I have to give myself a pep talk! How about you?
I did have 2 wonderful compliments! I was included in 2 treasuries!
Well that is all for now. Have a great night!

Wednesdays Weading

I just created my first Etsy treasury! I am so excited! I missed one yesterday on the treasury west because I didn't know what I was doing! lol So I tried again today and it worked.

My treasury is titled "Earthy Elegant MUD".

Come check it out and them tell me what you think.

I've also listed several new items on etsy since Monday.

Free Promotion Links

I been spending A LOT of time on the forums on Etsy in the last week or so. (I know I should be working, but.) ;0) I have found some great information out there. I wanted to let you know a few things that I've seen and have found very helpful. For self promotion I have found a few new (and free) sites that I thought were interesting.
you submit a photo, description, and link and they review it
and then post it to their website. I showed over several hits off of 1 picture!
you can link your etsy site, blog, twitter, etc. sites
to it so that your page rank in search engines can increase
this one you can submit up to 2 items per month.
I also found a few articles that I thought were VERY helpful.
Lilacs Tuesday post was about making your shop successful
It is a font of infomation! How to help your shop be seen better by search
enginges thru meta tags etc. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Here's the link
2) www.the6oclockstitch.blogspot.com
"Promote Your Etsy Shop: part 1"
I found this informational and it has a lot of links to help.
Here's the link
Here's the link to part 2
These are just a few of my finds. As I sift thru them I will be blogging about more. If you have any finds that you would like to share, please let me know!

Sunny Wednesday

I've had an idea percolating and brewing for awhile. I have finally gotten it to come about. I am now making all of my new pendants reversible, also! I am so excited! It's taken a lot of trial and error but now it is in the making. As I am Florida and my kiln is in Ohio it won't be until the end of May that I will first have them out. It is so rewarding to have an idea come to life! And work!)

I'm preparing for an art show this weekend in Delray Beach, FL, The Delray Affair. This will be my first time at this show but it is HUGE, with over 600 exhibitors! I am counting my blessings getting a booth on Atlantic Ave, booth #367. The only thing that I am not looking forward to is the 5 am setup on Friday:( It's not so bad once you get started, right?

I've been out on the beach with the kids all day relaxing and having fun. We are all a little on the overdone side and feeling a little warm. I think it is time for some aloe!

Be Blessed!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

New Pieces Listed On My Website!

Happy Easter to everyone!
I've just created a new page on my website! I've added some of my beaded necklaces. Since each is one of a kind it has taken me a while to create them and get them on there.
I've included a couple of pictures to wet your appetite!
My newest creation is the Reversible Necklace.
I've put an image on both sides of my pieces to create a fabulous
necklace that won't be found anywhere else! I think that after
much trial and error, I've figured it out!
I think that these are FANTASTIC!
What do you think of them?
I would love to hear your take on them.
They come on a multi strand ribbon necklace that is 18 - 20 inches.
I hope everyone has a safe and
wonderful Easter weekend!
I am off to color some eggs and do an easter egg hunt!
Oh, I can't forget that the hungry kids! Homemade pizza tonight!
Be Blessed,
Regina

You can find these necklaces and more at my website

Welcome to My New Blog!

Hi everyone!

My name is Regina and I create one-of-a-kind clay jewelry. I primarily do art shows so that I can sell my work. I travel all over doing a show almost every weekend.

I also just stepped into the computer age and am selling on the web! My finished pieces can be found at http://www.firedupladies.weebly.com/

I am selling my beads at etsy, a place for all things handmade, My site there is

I love to create something that is unique and different. That is how the clay came to be my primary material. My mom and I work together on the clay and then I do all of the finishing work.

I have 3 children. My oldest is Mark, he is 16 and in 10th grade (He's a teenage boy , what more has to be said?) My middle child is Rachel, she is in 5th grade and is 11. My youngest is Becky, she is 10 and in 4th grade. I have budding artists (the 2 girls of course!) who love to help and create wonder works themselves.

My greatest joy comes when I see a piece that I have made be worn. I love to see all of my work and effort mean something. I feel very blessed when someone buys a piece that I've created with their hard earned money. My main goals are to create something different then anyone else, to make people stop and take another look, and to not meet yourself walking down the street.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for getting to know me a little better. Have a blessed day!
